DARK CHAO ADVENTURES OFFICIAL HANDBOOK _For Military Chao in Training_ )By the Author who brought you "The Professor," and "Genocide"( Welcome, trainee, to the world of the military! You are a Hero/Dark/Neutral chao, correct? Or are you a baby? If you are a baby, this handbook was given to you by a teacher in school, so study up! *Note: This guide is mostly for Dark Chao, so you'll find most things are about them. USING THIS GUIDE ---------------- This handbook was written with comfort and ease in mind. Whenever you see "Whoops!"... a tip is followed, describing what to do in an accident. If you see "Bulls-Eye!"... a tip is followed, giving you advice on aiming with your weapon. "Eat Yellow Coconuts" is a code, and if you see it written in this book, dispose of this book IMMEDIATELY. Seconds after tossing it away, the book will explode. It is best not to ask. "Look Out!" is usually followed by a description of the area, as well as the hazards. When not that, it is followed by tips on how to dodge incoming attacks. "Sossy" is the MOST IMPORTANT sign to watch out for. It will tell you SECRET tips and secrets, as well as what to do in EXTREME measures. Enjoy the handbook, Trainee! HERO CHAO --------- Hello, Hero! Life in the Hero Garden is simple, unless war is declared. In the event of a war, please remain calm and grab your contemplorary "Neat-O Machine Gun," provided to you by your Counselor. Combat with the NOMG -------------------- The Neat-O Machine Gun, or, "NOMG (Nahm)", is relatively simple to handle. Simply press and release the screw-on trigger provided by your Weapons Specialist. Make sure you do not accidentally unscrew the trigger. That would be VERY bad. Whoops! You unscrewed the trigger! This usually results in an explosion, but can sometimes be a dud. Hope for the second one. Getting used to the Hero Obstacle Training Hazard Course -------------------------------------------------------- So, "Mister Hot-Shot" just joined the army, huh? Well, you are now being sent to the Hero Obstacle Training Hazard Course, or HOTHC. How do you pronounce that? Well, it is pronounced "Hawth*u*c", and you say the "u" really fast. This training course is sometimes called "Hot H-C," and, by n00bs, "Hayche, Oh, Tee, Hayche, Cee." Sossy! In certain communications, and S.O.S's, and even some other missions, you will hear talk of the "Hot Hero Chao." Don't think that she'll like you, even IF you're a boy. Why not? Because she is not real! The Hot Hero Chao is a code name for the HOTHC. Think about it, "HOT-H.C" This is a VERY important tip. This trip to the HOTHC will take several hours. Buses don't go very fast, you know! When you are finally in the HOTHC, you shall notice you are no longer in the sky. Due to safety precautions, the Hazard Course is on the ground. Don't fret! This is GOOD! In the case of a Hero Garden invasion, no one will find you in the sky. The first hazard training mission is the obstacle course, in which you must avoid robotic gunfire, and must crawl to the other side of the room. This is very easy! You can crawl, can't you? The second room is actually the final one, since Hero Chao are gifted with the ability of most things. The last room in all three training courses is a robot interrogation. You must find out where the exit is, and when that is finished, defeat a horde of training robots. Good luck! Utilizing the Hero Weaponry --------------------------- In the Hero Chao Army, or "HCA," you are exposed to four different vehicles. The Hero 'Tuff A-'Nuff Kart, or HTANK, is a flying war bazooka. Bulls-Eye! While aiming inside the machine is not that easy, it is important to at least know the controls, lest you accidentally kill your entire squad. The Hero Elephant Copter, or HELECOPTER, is a machine with automated machine gun fire and propellors keeping it airborne. The Mole is a disguised grenade launching warthog. Sossy! If you see a briefcase with the words "Hot Hero Chao" on it, quickly toss it at the nearest enemy. The briefcase will open, revealing a jeep-like vehicle that will pursue, run over, blow up, then run over again, your enemy. Finally, we have the Hero Elephant Submerged Intra-Transportation And Telecommunication Entity, or HESITATE, a submarine that allows high-quality communication and extremely fast sub-aqua movement. Now that you know all the advanced weaponry you get, it's time for you to get up and FIGHT! NEUTRAL CHAO ------------ Due to the "Nega-to-Neutral" treaty, the Neutral Chao do not have any form of weaponry, army, or anything violent. DARK CHAO --------- The Dark Army isn't much, so I'll explain it in one explanation. THE DARK ARMY ------------- You have tons of soldiers, all ready to fight. Here's a list of classes: SHOOTERS: GRUNT- Infantryman. You know... a foot soldier! SHADER- Advanced infantryman. Gets his/her own Shade. Explained later. COMMANDER- Best type. Shade is one. NAVY: SEABEE- Infantryman. Like a janitor, but with weapons. BLOWER- Advanced infantryman. Gets his/her own Blow. Explained later. ADMIRAL GUY- Best type. Like Shade, but with an ocean. AIR FORCE: FIGHTER- Infantryman. Like a Commercial Pilot, but with guns. ELECTAWER- Advanced infantryman. Gets his/her own Electaw. Explained later. BIG SHOT GUY- Best type. Regular weapons-- real ones. Any one you can find. Shade- Direct from Halo, it's a Shade! These are alien turrets. Don't ask where Shade got a Shade. Blow- Like a cannon, but without the human cannonball. Electaw- Attached to planes, this shoots electricity. Aaaand... that's pretty much it.
