Episode 27: Chao Talk Attack! Part three: Infiltrating City Hall Chapter 1: The Building [continuing the story, Shade, Dark, Knuckle, Chao, Purflee, Dark-Hawk, Honey, and LGS gather in a group in the top floor of a building] Shade: Right, so, how will we reach the Town Hall? DH: Hmm... uh... what about that switch that reads "Flip to teleport"? Dark: Ooh! Ooh! Me! I wanna flip it! Shade: Dark, that's I VANNA flip it! Idiot... trying to sound funny without the use of "v." [Dark flips the switch, and the eight chao teleport to the top floor of ANOTHER building] Honey: Now where are we? [Knuckle looks over a railing] K: Looks like there's a 4-foot drop down to the bottom floor. Yawn. [they jump over] [they exit through a door and all gasp] Chao: This was easier than I thought. [they were in a large garden, at the other end was a statue of a robot called "Turrican." To their left was a giant skyscraper] DH: That's Town Hall all right. PF: But, who's "Turrican?" Dark: (pointing to statue) Probably that guy. LGS: Let's go in. [they go into the skyscraper, and go into a large room with two doors on the first floor, and a balcony above showing the second floor] Dark: (sounding creepy) Tiiiime to chooooooose. Shade: Okay, enough Half-Life references. All who wanna go into the first door, say "Aye." [several chao say it] Shade: That's over half, so let's go. [meanwhile, back with the chao that didn't go] Tail: So... who else is bored? [they all raise their hands] [KNOCK KNOCK] SShade: Who is it? ?: Just a poor chao looking for his sister! PFII: Am I your sister? ?: I don't know! [they open the door, and a Dark/Normal with lots of power and pheonix and tiger parts comes in] Buddy: Hey. Does anyone know where Honey, my sis, is? Hero: Honey? I'm pretty sure she left with the rest of our group to go to the Town Hall. Buddy: WHAT!? What was she thinking?! That place is VERY dangerous! I just got back from there! Speedy: Really? Well, what happened? Buddy: It's too horrifying to tell, but I can say one thing-- wait... do you guys have any walkie-talkies? He: I have one. [everyone stares at He] He: What? I thought you guys NORMALLY carry them around! I mean, I saw that Honey had one... Buddy: Gimme! (snatches radio) Honey? HONEY, do you read? [back with the others] Buddy: Honey? HONEY, do you read? Honey: !! Buh...Buddy... is that you? Buddy: SIS! Honey: BRO! Buddy: Honey, listen... I've been to the Town Hall. I have something IMPORTANT to tell you! Honey: I'm listening. Buddy: (slowly and carefully) On the third floor... don't go into AM-NI-ZU's room. Repeat: NOT Amnizu! Honey: Uh... okay, I hear you loud and clear. I won't go in Amnizu's room. Good to talk to you. [they put the radios away] Shade: Who was that? Honey: My brother, Buddy. He said not to go into Amnizu's room, whoever that is. Dark: WHOA! [in front of the chao is a a picture of Captain Kirk from Star Trek] Chao: That's... interesting. Knuckle: LOOK, an elevator! [they go onto the elevator and ride it up to the second floor] Chapter 2: Observing the Mysterious Turrican Shade: It seems like this building's very huge. I say we slit up and search! Chao: Good idea. I'm with Honey, since she actually makes SENSE. DH: I wanna be with Shade, and catch up on what's happened since I left. Dark: Uh... Knuckle! PF: Wait, that only leaves me and... crap. LGS: Hey, c'mon, it'll be just like old times- you and me, exploring all the fun things at our hometown! PF: FINE, but I won't like it. [so, they split up] [Team Shade searches the "Observation Area"] [Team Chao searches the "Data Controls Chamber"] [Team Idiot--uh.. Dark, searches the third floor] [Team Purf searches the first floor] [with Team Shade] DH: So, Shade, what's new? Captured any new lands lately? Killed any juggernauts? Shade: Uh, well, I've sorta... saved the world a few times. DH: Really? How? Shade: Once, I defeated Metal Sonic on his reign of terror against Earth. DH: And the second time? Shade: Well, uh.. I helped Sonic beat Metal Sonic again. DH: Uh...huh. Well, anything surprisingly interesting? Shade: Depends. I guess going to sleep and waking up in this strange world is interesting. DH: So... no. Shade: Yeah. DH: What HAS happened since I left? Shade: I went to Pre-school. DH: (face-palm) Shade: Hey, look! Five doors! DH: I'll explore these two as long as you check those three. [inside Dark-Hawk's first, he sees a large picture of the train station] [inside Shade's first, he sees a bedroom] [DH- picture of the office of death] [Shade- picture of the OMG park] [DH walks back to the middle of the hall] [Shade- picture of the OMG2 park] [Shade walks back] DH: See anything? Shade: Only more things to die in. DH: Same here. [Team Chao] Honey: So, Chao... what exactly are you in society? Chao: Uh... I'm basically the neutralizer of Shade's....... antics. Honey: Oh. Hey, look! [they look down a hall and see a robot go around a corner] Chao: COME BACK HERE! [around the corner is a library, but no robot] Chao: That was weird. Honey: Yeah. Chao: What the!? [looking out the window, the robot is out in the city, casually strolling] [Team Dark] Knuckle: What luck, being stuck with the guy who's killed me quite a lot! Dark: OH... MY... HERO CHAOS... [the third floor is consisted of one large hallway with many doors] Knuckle: De... Dark: Ja... Both: VU. Chapter 3: Amnizu [Team Purf] LGS: So... uh.. you bored? PF: Definitely. LGS: Wanna regroup with the others? PF: Totally. [they all do, except Team Dark] Shade: WE SAW WAYS TO DIE! Chao: WE SAW A ROBOT! PF: WE WERE REALLY BORED! Honey: Wait, where are the other two? [the group goes up the elevator and finds Team Dark, eyes wide] Chao: What's wrong, guys-- (notices doors) OH MY HERO CHAOS!!! Shade: NOT THIS AGAIN... NOT THIS AGAIN... Honey: C-calm down, guys.... maybe these doors won't kill us-- OH MY... [Honey points to a door at the left, labeled "Amnizu"] Honey: DO NOT GO IN THERE. Knuckle: We're not! [instead, they go counter-clockwise through the hall] Dark: This sucks. All the rooms are just bedrooms! Shade: I dunno, I liked the one with Metroid Prime playing on the TV. Knuckle: The only one left is the dreaded Amnizu. Honey: Uh... why don't you just open the door? B-but don't go in! [Knuckle carefully opens the door, and steps back a few steps] [inside is one LONG, DARK corridor, and at the end is a door lit by a tiny light] Shade: Okay, who's going in? NOT IT! DH: NOT IT! Honey: Oh, I am DEFINITELY NOT IT! PF: NOT IT! LGS: NOT IT! Chao: NOT IT! Knuckle: Not-- Dark: Hey, Knuckle? NOT IT! Knuckle: Yeah? D'OH! I hate you, Dark. [Knuckle slowly enters the hallway, and Dark instantly closes the door and keeps his back to it] K: What? D'OH! [they hear him slowly walking forward] Shade: Do you think he's gonna be okay? Dark: He'll be fine... [blaringly loud rock music is heard] K: (getting closer) I HATE YOU, DAAAAAAARK! [SLAM!] [the music stops, and all is quiet for a few seconds] [Dark slowly opens the door, and sees the hallway normal, but at the door is Knuckle's crushed corpse] Dark: Ooh... uh... I didn't do it. [Dark slowly closes the door] Shade: I almost forgot! Respawn... Dark, you're dead. [Knuckle comes running in, carrying a skateboard] K: DARK, you're DEAD! [Knuckle slides Dark onto the skateboard and thrusts the skateboard down the dark hallway, and closes the door] [rock music, SLAM, quiet] K: Go on, open the door. [Shade opens the door and sees Dark's crushed corpse, and a broken skateboard] [Dark slowly limps in] Dark: Ugh... so THAT'S what Amnizu is. Okay, let's move on. Chapter 4: Turrican [they find a big door labelled "Turrican," and go in] [inside is a staircase leading to a small balcony, and a small little walk around the balcony] Shade: Hello? ?: Shade? SHADE, is it truly you? DH: Hey, aren't you... [a white neutral fly/swim chao comes walking around the corner] DH: ...Quartz? Q: Yeah, that's me. Shade, Dark-Hawk, what are you guys doing here? Here to recruit me for another mission? Shade: No, I get the feeling that we're here for the same reason YOU are. Did you simply go to sleep, then wake up on this strange planet? Q: Now that you mention it... yeah. Chao: Same here. Q: Shade, I just want to tell you something... downstairs, in the first floor, there's a very dark passage. Me and Phantom teamed up to explore it, but we soon found some deadly monsters. I ran as fast as I could, and made it out, but... Shade: Phantom DIDN'T!? He's trapped down there!? DH: And we haven't found him anywhere else, so he didn't die and respawn. Q: However, you need a flashlight to go anywhere down there. There's a flashlight in a storage closet somewhere in this building, but you'll need me to open it. Dark: What are we waiting for, let's go! [they explore the second floor, and soon find a storage closet, and Quartz opens it] Q: There it is. Go get it. [Shade takes it] [they go down to the first floor, and find the dark passage] PF: This must be the place... are you guys ready? Dark: Yep. Shade: Sure. LGS: I'm ready when you guys are. Chao: Let's go. Honey: Saving a chao? I'm in! Q: I want to find Phantom... DH: LET'S DO THIS! [Shade shines the flashlight down the hall, and the camera fades out as they begin to explore it] TO BE CONTINUED...
